Shops Everywhere

Its location close to public transportation is nice along with possibly a 15-20 min walking distance from the popular market. The staff was welcoming and helped when needed. It's near a lot of stores and small food and shopping market, the reception and hotel in in an actual shopping and business building. Newspaper was slid under the door (English) and 11 TV channels There was 1 universal outlet in the room but make sure to bring a converter with you just in case.

Since its within an actual shopping center and office building it can be hard to miss. The elevators to the rooms are down the hall on the other side of the building, so it was troublesome to go up and down to get a working key for my room. There wasn't a fridge in the room but complementary water bottles which i guess would have been used for only coffee or tea rather than the water itself. I think the room I was in needs to be renovated because the walls looked to have water damage, the sockets weren't secured to the wall, toilet seat was stained, no hot water for shower all the time (I only had 1 hot shower out of 3 night stay) and the lighting in the room was quite dim which lead me to think, so you cant see how dingy the towels are. Wifi password only for your room floor and not the lobby.

Nice rooms but bad service and experience

Clean new rooms, good location

WiFi didn't work throughout our stay, staff wasn't open about it they kept promising but nothing happened. Other guests had same problem. Towels were smelling and not changed. Some people from staff sat next to our door in the morning and talk loudly waking us up. Breakfast was mediocre.

Absolute waste of money, lack of proper maintainance.

Only the location of the hotel. Walking distance from Medan Tuanku monorail station and just 2kms from Petronas Towers. Breakfast buffet was good.

Well to start with, the room was not at all clean. Had shabby walls, uncleaned sheets and severe lack of ventilation. One small window behind the cupboard, the room is always dark even in the morning (our room was on 14th floor), Lack of proper lights. The in-house restaurant closes as early as 8.30pm! The wifi is the worst. It does not work at all, no improvments even after multiple complaints. The room service provides only 500ml of water a day for 2 pax. No provision for refilling water bottles. The electronic key stops working every now n then, need to reset at the reception everyday. 785 MYR for 4 days including breakfast is not worth for this hotel. No view even from the 14th floor. You would feel depressed as soon as u enter the room. Not at all recommended for couples/family.

Location : near Sogo

The fact that we have to take d lift down from parking 4th flr to d ground only to have to walk all the way to d front on d building to the reception. Then to discover our 3 rooms were not on the same floor despite being promised when we called a week before.

Thank you to all the staff of The Hotel for a good hospitality.

I enjoyed my stay there.The staff really help me even tough my last minutes needed is extra bed. The hotel charged me RM100 and it satisfied me. Thank you

Worth for the money. Fair breakfast menu & free parking!

Fast check-in. I expect the room to be bigger, shocked that it was bit smaller. Thou had a quite room, you can have a good sleep. Free parking, owh I love this as KL parking is exceptionally expensive. Good location (near to Sogo for the food court, have 7E near receptionist & Bandaraya train station is just a walking distance).

These are the things that can be improved: 1. Proper signage for reception location (we were quite lost inside the building just to check in). 2. Lift. It makes me dizzy. 3. Breakfast location. At reception or lift lobby? I have to ask during check in & I was given wrong info. 4. Towel. Kindly change please. It was torn & looks ancient. 5. TV channel. Please improve those with "still" images. The date on the TV was Wednesday! (I stayed there on Sat, it has been 3 days and it has not been fixed) 6. Late check out will be given compound of RM100. Too stringent, no toleration.

My husband and I was given a small room with difficult to move about, no aircon. What I dont like is that booking.com said 70% discount and the price is still high.

Been to this hotel for few times but this is d bad service.

It has safety parking lot n its near the place that i lime to go shopping.

Room price promo at RM 180 but they do not allow me pay for the price. They requested me to pay more. Since booking.com confirmed to me hotel got the right to cancel booking and offer me the price but they deny to accept.

The room is comfort enough for relaxing.

When we having breakfast at the restaurant near the lift, there was a cockroach on the noodle! On the restaurant was clean, but maybe not in the kitchen! They should check it out about the cleaniness! Anyone could get sick. The staffs, not so helpful, when we were arrived, no sfaff helping with our luggage to carry it on the way from taxi to the room! There is a trolly for luggage. And the bad thing was, I was returned to the lobby three times from level 9, just to find our room, they said, your room is at level 9, my son also heard it. Until the third time I went to the lobby, ask it again, it was level 19!!! Why they said it level 9! So horrible, we were carrying our luggage up and down three times! No staff helping in the lobby, no staffs helping on the lift!, so poor. One more thing, when were are going to check out, I asked the front desk for a trolly, and again, the trolly is used at level 4 for a function!!! Once again we had to carry our own luggage to the lobby, we had 7 luggage. We paid the hotel service charge 10% for nothing!!!! And one more thing, they should check out the toilet too, the sink is leaking badly!
